"Jesus On Demand"
Our theme this year "Jesus On Demand". In our 54 years of retreats – we continue to presents a Youth Planned and Youth Produced quality Retreat. What's going to be the theme next year??? Plan on attendng and finding out for yourself. We begin Friday night with our opening campfire. Then there are songs, skits, and scouting fun – and you might learn just a little of what is in store for you on Saturday.
The opening flag ceremony on Saturday morning will start on your weekend’s journey of faith and fun. You will experience workshops, skits, talks, games, and a little prayer – all written by fellow scouts for you.
On Sunday morning, we celebrate Mass overlooking the lake and the rising sun. As you pack your gear after Mass, you’re sure to have many great memories of this weekend.
What’s really in store for scouts who join us this year? We’ve said too much already. You will have to attend and discover the rest for yourself! Our Youth Staff has planned a new and unique program this year, and they look forward to welcoming you! See you in September!
This year we will again be using the low COPE course at CITTA. For those who are not familiar with it, this means things like walking on logs and swinging on ropes in teambuilding activities centered on faith, under the supervision of a certified COPE course director. Please be sure your campers dress to get dirty, and maybe fall down - it may happen. Also, we will need each camper to have a simple medical form with them. We will require a BSA medical form – more on that once we determine how the new BSA medical form requirements impact us.

WHERE - - - CITTA Boy Scout Reservation, Barnegat, NJ
WHO - - - Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts who will be in the 6th through 12th grades in September may attend as troops or as parish units.
Individual scouts may attend if they pre-register by September 15, 2009
WHAT TO BRING - - - Each Unit must bring their own tents, food and camping gear.
RETREAT COST without FOOD - - - $ 8.00 per person (Scouts and Leaders) if you register before September 1st - $ 10.00 per person afterwards.
RETREAT COST WITH FOOD - - - $ 25.00 per person (Scouts and Leaders) and you MUST register before September 15th.
